Plastic waste is no longer just a threat to the flora and fauna in the oceans. It has also long been directly affecting the foundations of fishing, tourism and all activities associated with the sea. That’s why we at Valdivia have long been campaigning for more awareness of this issue and presenting projects that offer hands-on solutions — such as the Nabu-German Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union or the holiday offers by Volunteer World.
