Plas­tic waste is no longer just a threat to the flora and fauna in the oceans. It has also long been direct­ly affect­ing the foun­da­tions of fish­ing, tourism and all activ­i­ties asso­ci­at­ed with the sea. That’s why we at Valdivia have long been campaign­ing for more aware­ness of this issue and present­ing projects that offer hands-on solu­tions — such as the Nabu-German Nature and Biodi­ver­si­ty Conser­va­tion Union or the holi­day offers by Volun­teer World.

The flood of plas­tic in our oceans seems almost unman­age­able. But if many people do a little and do it constant­ly, success is possi­ble. That’s why we invite you to join in: Join us in support­ing projects to curb plas­tic waste in the oceans — with a dona­tion, by taking part in a clean­ing campaign or during a holi­day like you’ve never expe­ri­enced before!
